PROVIDING HOPE
In Early 2010, Lotus Buds International began
a relationship with the Home of Love
orphanage in Shanxi Province. This
orphanage is very active in promoting local
adoptions of the orphans that they care for.
Lotus Buds has been providing training for
adoptive families, foster families and orphan
caretakers associated with Home of Love.
One of the greatest needs the Home of Love
has is for an emergency medical fund to
provide care for babies who are abandoned at
the local hospitals with life threatening
medical needs.
Lotus Buds has established this fund for
Home of Love.
Our goal is to maintain this fund at $10,000.
In December 2010, the fund was used to save
the life of Asaph who suffered from atresia of
the esophagus and was abandoned at the
hospital. Home of Love was able to pay for
his surgery through this fund. Asaph is now
recovering at the orphanage and awaiting
adoption. However, the surgery depleted the
emergency medical fund.
