    Lotus Buds publishes the first Adoptive Parenting Book in
    China

    We're excited to announce the publishing and first print run of
    the book "Adoptive Parenting from the Ground Up" by Katie
    Prigel Sharp.    This book has been the basis for our adoptive
    parenting training course and we are so excited that it can now
    be made available throughout the country.  We believe this is
    the first book for adoptive parenting published in China. The
    book was published in association with a Chinese family training
    organization called Root Education in Beijing.  They will be
    handling the marketing of the book throughout China and we
    can continue to distribute them through our seminars to adoptive
    families and orphan care-takers.
Update on Asaph

We are excited to give you an update on Asaph.  You may remember that Asaph was born with a collapsed esophagus and abandoned by his parents. In January, Lotus Buds was able to provide $7,500 to Home of Love in Shanxi Province to provide a life-saving surgery for Asaph.  We just received this updated photo that shows the great care Asaph has received at the Home of Love.  The best news of all is that an adoptive family welcomed Asaph into their family this past June!  Thank you so much for your contributions that have changed this little fellow’s life.
